All meetings and formal group sessions are held in our conference room within the main house – with the team building and personal development activity taking place within the centre’s 14 acres of woodland and the surrounding hills and valleys of Mid Wales.

Mount Severn is a Grade II Georgian luxury country house catering for up to 25 delegates.  All accommodated in the large 10 en-suite bedrooms.  We offer exclusive use so that everyone can relax which is conducive to getting the best out of the attendees. Wireless internet access and conferencing facilities are provided for the business meetings and formal group sessions.

At the end of a busy day of team building activity the time comes to relax in the well stocked library in front of an open fire whilst awaiting dinner – which is freshly prepared using locally sourced produce.  We are of course able to cater for all dietary requirements.

Stage 1 - Building an Effective Team

Mount Severn offers new teams a safe environment in which to explore and practice team working. They will gain an understanding of what makes the best teams successful. In addition the will explore personal accountability and the impact of their actions or lack of action on the team. For existing teams to collectively explore individual member profiles, their strengths, weaknesses, and motivational drivers leaving Mount Severn with a mutual understanding of the group's collective skills, balance, & dynamics. Know how to maximise your personal contribution and get the best from other members.

Stage 3 - Delivering World Class Results

For successful leadership groups coming to Mount Severn to review existing team performance against annual business plans, reflecting on what is working and not working. Then adopting the Start, Stop, Continue, thought process to the creation of simple, realistic, and timebound action plans to be implemented quickly and effectively for immediate results. Quality time may also include “Brainstorming” future business plans and the strategies and tactics required to ensure success.

Llanidloes in Mid Wales is the first Fair-trade town in Wales and offers good organic and vegetarian outlets.  With good communication links to all major airports and trains we are “away from the crowds – but easily accessible”.
