Hills & Low Level walking

Mount Severn is ideally situated for exploring Mid Wales, with the Cambrian Mountains rolling away toward the sea. There is an untouched network of footpath and bridleways to link each valley to the next, or following old drovers routes and trails made by the Cistercian Monks who farmed and traded in the Mid Wales area some 900 years ago.

There are nature trails around the Hafren Forest where an Otter might be spotted on a warm summers evening, or take a walk around Llyn Clywedog where Red Kites saw high above on a  thermal looking for prey. We also have Glyndwr's Way running through Llanidloes, a 135 mile walkers path that runs through Mid Wales, so there is never an excuse not to get out for an explore by foot!
