Nestled within the Cambrian Mountains, Mount Severn is ideally situated for exploring the mountains of Wales. The Cambrian Mountains covers some 80 square miles of moors and mountains with the highest peak being Pumlumon at 755m, an extinct volcano in the oldest range in Europe. From it's slopes are the springs and source of two of Britain's longest rivers, the Severn and Wye. A very untouched area that is often quiet and peaceful.
To the North of the centre is Snowdonia, a paradise of peaks, with Cadair Idris and the Arrans only a stones throw away, it then stretches North through the Rhinog's and Moelwyns to the Snowdon massif, Britain's second highest mountain.
So let Mount Severn take responsibility for the planning of your big day on the mountain, so that you can relax and enjoy the beauty of some of the highest peaks in Wales. Our staff have a wealth of experience in mountaineering, and are all qualified mountain leaders.
