A Mid-Wales Grade II listed Georgian building set in 14 acres of gardens and woodland with views overlooking the beautiful countryside, Mount Severn Wedding Venue is licensed to hold Civil Wedding Ceremonies. We can provide a complete wedding venue for the marriage service, wedding reception through to providing accommodation in our 10 en-suite bedrooms.
During the summer a champagne reception can be held on the lawns overlooking the woodland and river. This picturesque setting also makes a lovely backdrop for photographs and a welcome drink. Winter weddings also have their own charm with log fires crackling in the grates.
We specialise in small-intimate weddings, which can be a simple or elaborate as you wish. You can make Mount Severn yours for the day, with exclusive use of the house and grounds. We provide an efficient and personal service in arranging the day which ensures that your celebration is as stress-free as possible.
There is a choice of rooms available for the Civil Ceremony – from the Library for 20 guests to the Drawing Room for 45 guests.
For your ‘Wedding Breakfast’ we have the Dining Room where we can cater for up to 35 guests for a sit down meal or a buffet up to 50 guests. If you prefer to have a larger celebration we can accommodate a Marquee for up to 80 guests.
